A local at heart, Paul prides himself on his dedication to the local region and a commitment to building a quality agency to service the local community.
Over the last 25 years, Paul has watched Kingscliff and the surrounding areas grow, transform and mature into the idyllic beachside location it is today. Armed with his many years of experience, Paul prides himself on his knowledge of every block of land in the area and its history.
“Kingscliff is the best place in the world to live – that’s what we are selling. You can put a building anywhere, but ultimately, people are buying the community,” said Paul.
Passionate about the area, Paul has been a long-standing member of the Kingscliff Chamber of Commerce where he is heavily involved in maintaining the culture and looking out for the well-being of the community.
Property has always been a passion of Paul’s who began his career renovating holiday units in Cabarita. In 1988, a chance opportunity with a friend who operated a small, independent agency in Cabarita propelled him into a career as an agent.
Paul went on to attain his real estate licence at TAFE before purchasing the existing LJ Hooker office in Kingscliff along Marine Parade on June 1st 1986.
From the early days with a small team of four salespeople, Paul has grown the agency to a team of 13 across three divisions – sales, property management, and administration.
Paul attributes this success to a focus on providing quality service. “Our job is always to make sure we put money in our client’s bank account – the sole goal of any agent is to maximise a client’s investments. It’s about their life and their future, and it’s imperative we respect that,” Paul says. In a dynamic industry like real estate, Paul understands the importance of building a positive team culture which is why his aim has always been to build a team of likeminded people. “My focus has always been on building the best real estate team on the coast, full of good, honest, hard-working people. This is why I place a lot of importance on training youth in the area and generating excitement in that culture for a career in real estate,” he said. Since starting the business over 25 years ago, Paul estimates more than 30 agents have been trained from scratch.
Paul and the team at LJ Hooker Kingscliff are passionate about community initiatives with the agency providing sponsorship to the Kingscliff Surf Life Saving Club, as well as a number of local sporting teams.
Rhiannon has been a part of our LJ Hooker office since September 2015 and has a wide variety of experience in all departments of the business. Rhiannon is passionate about achieving 100% client satisfaction with our new and current Residential Investment Owners. Rhiannon has since obtained her Real Estate License in 2021.
Pursuing her passion for business development and creating relationships with new clients, Rhiannon works closely with the property management team to grow the rent roll to new heights. She keeps updated on all the laws and legislation related to property management ensuring her to continue to adapt and expand with the ever-changing market.

Katie joined the LJ Hooker Kingscliff team in 2013 shortly after completing her Certificate of Registration to enter the Real Estate industry. Katie has since obtained her Real Estate License in 2021.
Katie is a skilled professional with a passion for local tourism and provides the very best of customer service. She is a highly valued support to our Holiday team delivering excellent service to guests and owners.
Katie’s attention to detail and innovative ideas have improved our systems and services which makes her a valuable part of the LJ Hooker Kingscliff team. Her main area is maintenance and back end systems for our Holiday Department.
Audrey started with LJ Hooker in July 2020, what a year to start! Obtaining her certificate of registration shortly after and continuing towards her Cert IV in Real Estate Practice.
Audrey has begun her real estate journey on reception welcoming guests into their holiday homes and working closely with the local community. Mainly assisting the holiday team with enquiries, maintenance and bookings.
In 2018, Krystal started at LJ Hooker Kingscliff while completing her Certificate of Registration. She now assists the holiday team
with check ins, bookings and general enquiries through her role on front desk. She is due to complete her Cert IV in Real Estate Practice shortly.
