Splash's kitchen and living areas are open plan and look out at the gorgeous pool. There is a separate living area for the children to play video games, listen to music and watch TV while you relax with friends in the kitchen/living area. There are three televisions, two bathrooms and a two car garage. It truly is Utopia! The children will love the newly refurbished wooden playground complete with slide, climbing dome, swing and monkey bars.
You can spend days exploring the region south to Byron Bay, west to the sunset over Mt Wollumbin/Warning in the National Park, north to the Gold Coast and Tweed area and a picturesque drive south-west through the dairy, sugar-cane and banana country to Murwillumbah. There are week-end markets, art galleries, beaches, fine food, cycle ways, parks and nature walks everywhere you look. Local events are frequently held on the foreshore including surf competitions, festivals, and fundraisers. Beachside markets are held on the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 8am to 1pm.
Throughout the year dolphins frequent the river mouth, and between April to November the ocean comes alive with spectacular shows from humpback whales making their annual migration.
